Dr. Joseph Shorr and Psychoimagination Therapy: Institute for Psychoimagination Therapy

The Institute for PsychoImagination Therapy was founded in 1972 by Joseph E. Shorr, Ph.D., a clinical psychologist who has worked for over two decades in the development and the use of imagery in psychotherapy and related fields.

The Institute is a non-profit organization devoted to the development of more effective procedures in psychotherapy, the training and supervision of professionals in the mental health fields, and research into the nature of imagery as related to diagnosis and therapy outcome.

A major emphasis of the Institute is providing psychotherapy for persons with a wide variety of personal problems.
